MORE SDCC STUFF.

So as it turns out I am RIDING SOLO for the con. What’s that mean? Well, I’m not “going” specifically with anyone, just mostly running around hanging out with friends!

BASICALLY: I’M STILL HELLA POOR. If you have space in your hotel room for a night here and there and don’t mind me crashing on it, in exchange I can offer to give you rides around San Diego (gas money would be cool in this case, I DO NOT ASK MUCH, JUST A FEW BUCKS HERE AND THERE) and take you to the neat local hotspots. Mostly for food. I love SD’s food ok.

I’m small and I bathe so I am not smelly, I swear. I will bring my own lil pillow and i will curl up in a corner and you’ll barely know I’m around! THEN I’LL TAKE YOU FOR BURRITOS AND DRAW YOU A PICTURE. YEAH.

I’m mostly gonna be shoppin this post around to people I’ve already had at least a little contact with whether through tumblr or otherwise, but if you have like, a great room situation that you wouldn’t mind me crashing on and you really like the idea of having a local show you around the area then lemme know!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SDCC ATTENDEES

All ya’ll need to get a California burrito at least once while you’re here. It is a local delicacy where carne asada, french fries, cheese, salsa, and guacamole are wrapped up into a tortilla and given to you.

It.

Is.

Amazing.

And it’s mostly a San Diego specialty (a lot of folks I’ve met in LA haven’t even heard of them) so YOU NEED TO TRY ONE WHILE YOU ARE HERE. My personal favorite place to get them is Lolita’s Taco Shop in Kearny Mesa, which will get you out of the con crowds and paid parking areas without taking you too far. (It’s a 15 minute drive north.) Their California burritos run $5 and you can get a drink for less than $2.

Go forth and burrito, fellow SDCC attendees.

Last minute comic-con housing emergency!

ATTENTION SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON GOERS!

If you or anyone you know needs a place to stay during the con, my girlfriend and I have a hotel room booked in the hotel circle for about $139 a night, Wednesday through Saturday night.

It’s a double queen room, we originally booked as a group of four, but because of an injury and other complicated stuff the other two people are no longer staying with us.

It’s too expensive for just the two of us, but hopefully someone out there needs a room!

Alternately, let us crash on your floor in exchange for some $$ and banana bread?
